You’ve seen how they do it, now we want to hear from YOU!

We hope that you have found this term’s talks to be as inspiring, thought provoking and useful as we have! Now we want to hear from you.

We are proposing to hold an event on Tuesday 6 December 2022 in our usual time slot of 13.00-14.00 GMT to give people a chance to present their own work which Explodes the Archive.

You might be using a personal archive, looking at a body of material culture or documents that falls outside of the traditional archive remit, or simply taking a new or interdisciplinary approach. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it!

The session will take the form of a poster presentation, where people will have five minutes to talk through a single PowerPoint slide which shows how they are engaging with the archive and then have five more minutes to answer any questions.

There will be five presenting slots available on the day, and priority will be given to anyone who might be preparing for a conference or other presentation, to allow them a chance to practice. If we get more submissions than we have time for, then we will plan in future sessions as we really want to give everyone the chance to talk about their work.

If you are interested in presenting, then please complete the form in the link below. Please register by Monday 21 November 2022.
