We’re running an event aimed at women PGR and Masters by Research students called Women in Academia: A Career in Research.
Following this course women researchers will have a greater understanding of the impact of cultural and structural gender bias on their careers as researchers. They will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and learn from others. From this, they will develop the skills and toolkits to manage these challenges on a day-to-day basis and also to play their part in callenging gender inequality to effect systematic, cultural long term change; enhancing and improving their career possibilities and environments as well as those of the women and men who follow them.
