Page Properties - What do they show me?

The Page Properties screen shows you the input components and the publishing output details for a web page as well as general information about the web page.

  • Click on the Properties tab.
The Properties screen opens.

Publish options

The filename that is included in the published web page URL is shown on the Publishing Options screen.

It was autopopulated to show the same information as the web page title when the page was created but can be changed to something different from the web page title:

  • The Publish Options screen is open displaying the original filename.

A new and different filename can be created:

  • click in the Name field
  • type in a new filename.

Use lower case characters and do not include spaces or punctuation characters.

By ticking in the relevant boxes you can select if a web page name is included in the following areas:

  • menu (left hand side)
  • site map
  • A to Z
  • search on a web page.
