Remove Formatting - How do I remove formatting from text?

If formatting is no longer required on your text it can be removed by selecting the text and removing the format.

The Remove Formatting icon is available in the Editor toolbar removeFormattingIcon

Use the following shortcuts to select text on the page:

  • Double-click over a word to select the word.
  • Click three times over a paragraph to select the entire paragraph.
  • To select any amount of text, click at the beginning of the text, then hold [Shift] and click at the end of the text.
  • Press [Ctrl A] to select all text in the content area of the page.

To remove the formatting from the selected text, click on the Remove Formatting icon on the Editor toolbar: removeFormattingIcon

You can also highlight your content and copy and paste it into Notepad. This will remove the formatting. Then copy the content from Notepad (CTRL C) and paste (CTRL P) back into Contensis.
