Network speeds - what are they like?

We're proud of our internet service. Everyone connected to CampusNet receives a fair share of the bandwidth available. Unlike most broadband providers, we don't impose download limits and you can expect speeds of up to 54Mb a second over Wi-Fi and 100Mbps over wired. You will always receive the best possible service available.

There is no difference between the wireless and wired connection, except if you're gaming or streaming HD, where you might want to use an Ethernet cable. There are plug-in points in all halls of residence rooms. We provide extensive Wi-Fi coverage, including in many outdoor locations, but if you find a blind spot please let us know!
