Basic Graphics

There are two distinct ways to add graphics to your LateX document:

  • Importing scaled vector graphics created in an external program such as Inkscape
  • Using LateX commands to create scaled vector graphics
Both methods work very well, but using an external program such as Inkscape

is far easier as there is little or no coding involved. If you wish to use LateX to create graphics, please refer to this detailed tutorial: LateX - Creating Graphics

If you wish to use an external program to create your graphics (or just import an image), please refer to this detailed tutorial: LateX - Importing Graphics
