In order to provide support for our employees at difficult times, we provide a free and confidential Employee Wellbeing Programme , which is available for all staff to access.

In order to provide support for our employees at difficult times, we provide a free, independent and confidential Employee Wellbeing Programme which is available for all staff to access.

Your access to the Employee Wellbeing Programme is paid for by the College as a support service for you as an employee, so it’s free of charge for you to use.

The Employee Wellbeing Programme is called Confidential Care and is delivered by CiC, an independent provider.

CiC provide independent, free and confidential information, support and advice to all colleagues and their immediate family (living in the same household), 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for both work and personal concerns. The programme will offer both useful advice on matters consisting of debt and financial management, legal and tax guidance, family care (dependents, childcare, elder care support) as well as day-to-day matters. CiC will also additionally provide counselling and emotional support to colleagues.

The Employee Wellbeing Programme can provide:

  • Resource information on support services in your local area
  • Short-term face to face or telephone counselling
  • The EAP website also offers extensive resources
