Graduation Ceremonies 2023

Our Summer Graduation ceremonies will be taking place this year from Monday 10 to Friday 14 July 2023.

Graduation is our most significant university-wide celebration held every year, and this year we’re doing things slightly differently. Ceremonies will take place on Founder’s Field in a purpose-built venue. This enables students to be at the centre of their ceremony, surrounded by their family and/or supporters. We are also offering free gown hire to all students graduating to support them during the challenging financial times we are currently facing, and we are introducing a student oration where a select few students share their journey and reflection with their peers and guests at the ceremony.

Running the ceremonies and supporting students on their graduation day requires the support of many colleagues from across the university. Not only do we need your support, but we believe that every colleague should have the opportunity to share these special moments with our students.

For the upcoming Summer Graduation ceremonies, the Graduation team kindly request your support in various roles, particularly as an Usher. To participate, please complete this form

Many thanks for your support in advance.
