Are the facilities currently open?

Following government guidelines, our outdoor facilities have been open from Monday 29 March for club bookings and ad hoc student bookings. The gym is also now open as part of stage two of the government's roadmap.

Will I be able to go to the gym and group exercise classes?

Following the new government guidelines from Monday 12 April the gym has reopened, however indoor group activity will not be allowed until Monday 17 May (at the earliest).

Why don’t you try the online timetable which is FREE to all staff of Royal Holloway?

What will happen to my fitness membership?

We’ve got you covered! Your membership was automatically frozen for the duration of our closure period and will unfreeze when our facilities reopen and services resume. You won’t need to do a thing!

How can I stay active if I can't return to the gym or use the sports facilities?

We know that you may not be returning to campus for a while yet and this may prevent you from using our facilities. We want to ensure that you're able to workout from home, wherever you are in the world!

How can I book a tennis court or outdoor facility?

Ad hoc bookings are available, you can request a booking by completing the form found here. One of the team will contact you within 24 hours to complete the booking. If you are trying to book for today please call the Sports Centre on 01784 443892 or email sportscentre@royalholloway.ac.uk. Please be aware we are only open limited hours and have limited resource on site.
