What is it?
This workshop focuses on performance management as a continuous process that drives development. It explores the vital role of the manager in creating and maintaining the performance needed of the teams and individuals that they lead.
Target audience
New and existing managers in both academic and professional services who have had no previous training in this area at Royal Holloway.
This course is mandatory for all line managers.
Programme objectives
- Understand the role and responsibilities of the manager in managing team and individual performance
- Appreciate how to create and maintain high performance in your team
- Describe the difference between good and unacceptable performance and behaviour
- Have the confidence and skills to address under-performance
