Academic Board is holding an election to fill eight vacancies in the membership category of elected Members of Academic Staff who shall be elected by and from the Members of Academic Staff. Although the term of office of an elected member is normally three years, the term of office for the newly elected members will be one year only, that is, from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020 pending a review in 2019-20 of the membership of Academic Board. The first meeting of Academic Board for the newly-elected member will take place on 23 October 2019.
Members of the electorate will receive an email with a link to enable them to vote along with any necessary instructions about the voting process.
The voting period will begin on Monday 5 August and will close at 5pm on Monday 19 August. The announcement of the successful candidates will be made five days following the close of voting.
