All colleagues are invited to be part of the Framing the Future series, a programme of discussion and debate with external speakers, intended to challenge and inform our thinking on some key topics that are likely to be relevant for the development of our new College Strategy. This will then be followed by the formal Strategy development which will take place in the first half of next year through an extensive process of consultation with the College community.
The Framing the Future series will feature panel events, podcasts and conversations in departments and schools as we inform ourselves and prepare for the development of the strategy.
The first panel event ‘Financial Futures’ featured guest speakers, Julie Mercer, Partner at Cairneagle Associates and Andy Stephens, Finance Director at Loughborough University. With Higher Education costs and tuition fees continually in the news, this session takes a step back and considers what financial factors will impact on universities over the next decade.
