We are proud to announce that we have three entries shortlisted in the 'THE Awards 2020', widely known as the 'Oscars of higher education'. This is the 16th year that the awards have been running and the first to be celebrated online. Our nominations are Professor Dan Stone, for History Outstanding Research Supervisor, Professor Katherine Brickell and Dr Laurie Parsons for Blood Bricks, Research Project of the Year (Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences), and StoryFutures, for Knowledge Exchange/Transfer Initiative. THE editor John Gill stated "In 2020 more than ever, it is vital to recognise and shout about those achievements, and we have been gratified by the huge number of entries at a time when university staff had so many demands on their time.” Discover more about the awards.
