On Wednesday 10 October, on World Mental Health Day, Dr David Ashton our Chief Operating Officer signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge on behalf of Royal Holloway. Signing the Pledge and committing to an action plan confirms our commitment to acting and thinking about mental health in ways that we hope will make a positive difference for all of our community.
Time to Change is an initiative set up by several mental health charities that encourages organisations to sign pledges that outline how they'll tackle the stigma attached to mental health.
Royal Holloway is committed to creating a working environment, where colleagues feel able to positively challenge the stigma surrounding mental health issues and where everyone can openly talk about mental health without fear of prejudice.
