The Concordat for the advancement of Knowledge Exchange in higher education

The ‘Concordat for the advancement of knowledge exchange in higher education’ (KE-C) was launched by Universities UK and Research England in April 2020. It will be used to provide assurance to government that all institutional are set up to support knowledge exchange and work effectively as possible with each other, with businesses and with other organisations

The aim of the Concordat is to support universities to consistently improve Knowledge Exchange (KE) performance in pursuit of the eight principles, which can be found here. It will also be used to share best practice.

It will operate alongside the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) to provide a mechanism via which universities, their partners, funders, and the public can understand the KE performance of the sector generally and of individual universities specifically.

Our Concordat delivery plan and self-evaluation was submitted to Research England on 31 July 2021. Once we have received feedback on this delivery plan we will publish it here.
