Royal Holloway has a range of partnership agreements with UK and international organisations that support departmental and institutional strategic objectives. Several of these arrangements involve collaborative educational opportunities offered with an external degree-awarding institution or delivery organisation. The Academic Quality and Policy Office has oversight of all arrangements in which a partner organisation has involvement in the delivery or assessment of student learning outcomes leading to a Royal Holloway award. Our partnerships include the following:
- Student mobility agreements with overseas universities providing opportunities for incoming and outgoing visiting students;
- The International Study Centre (‘embedded college’) providing preparatory courses enabling students to progress to Royal Holloway programmes;
- The validation of programmes designed and delivered by an external organisation leading to a Royal Holloway award;
- Collaborative flying faculty arrangements to facilitate the off-campus delivery of Royal Holloway programmes;
- Progression, articulation and dual degree arrangements with partner institutions;
- Intercollegiate modules and programmes offered with University of London institutions;
- Distance learning programmes delivered by University of London Worldwide
