Moodle enhancements ahead of the 2019/20 session
Moodle was successfully upgraded on the morning of Thursday July 11.
Building on the development of the College Moodle service in 2018, this upgrade aims to further increase the reliability, stability and security of Moodle, as well as delivering user-led improvements to the service.
The E-Learning Team, led by Martin King, has engaged with the academic community, IT Services and our vendor to deliver a number of improvements and changes to Moodle. There are new tools and activities, improvements to existing ones, and changes aimed at enhancing the user experience.
There will be a range of opportunities during August and September in which to learn more about Moodle; open and bespoke workshops as well as drop-in sessions and online support. In the meantime you can find out about the changes by using the links below.
