The centralised and multi-skilled E-Learning Team is part of the Educational Development team and works across three broad areas;
- promoting the benefits of e-learning
- contributing to e-learning service provision and development
- training and support of academic, administrative & professional services staff in their use of e-learning technologies and methodologies
- supporting e-learning activity design and delivery.
The E-Learning Team operates as:
- an independent bridge between IT Services and the academic community at Royal Holloway. We support and welcome discussions relating to an academic-led approach to building, customising, maintaining, and developing our portfolio of e-learning services
- a key part of larger ‘virtual’ groups with members of Academic department and Professional Services to deliver and develop the College e-learning infrastructure and services
- a co-partner in designing and delivering e-learning activities
- a critical friend in the development and evaluation of e-learning activities.
