This Policy outlines the highest level of the college’s health and safety management system. 

 

It consists of five parts: 

 

Health and Safety Policy Statement. 

This clearly states the college’s commitment to health and safety and is signed by the Principal and Deputy Principal (Operations). 

 

Individual Responsibilities. 

Every member of staff has a responsibility to ensure the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions or omissions. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities. 

Outline of the roles and responsibilities of key positions for the management, assurance, and practical implementation of health and safety, including in responding to emergencies. 

 

Arrangements. 

Outline of the arrangements to implement health and safety at the college. 

 

Measuring Performance. 

The means of measuring the effectiveness of the health and safety management system.
