First Aid


This information reflects the College’s commitment to meeting its duties under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. In doing so, it recognises that adequate first aid provisions must be provided to employees and other persons who may be injured or become ill at work, during the course of their studies, whilst visiting College premises, or where it has responsibility for the management of off-site activities.

If you would like to volunteer to become a first aider for the College please contact the
College Health and Safety Office Coordinator.

Where any doubt exists as to the action to be taken or advice and assistance is required, please contact the College Health and Safety Office Coordinator.


  • AED 6 month check confirmation.
    The conducting of 6 monthly checks will be confirmed by the designated responsible person through the submission of this on-line notification form. Visual checks which are undertaken every two weeks do not need to be recorded.
