Health & Wellbeing


Health and Wellbeing relates to all aspects of your working life, from the quality and safety of your physical environment, to how you feel about your work.   There are various sources of support available to employees.  In the first instance, employees may wish to discuss any wellbeing concerns with their line manager. 

The HR department provides access to employment support and is available to discuss all work-related health and wellbeing issues.  HR also work closely with the Occupational Health Service and can arrange staff counselling subject to a recommendation from the Occupational Health Doctor.

The Health & Safety Office provide advice and assistance across the broad subject of occupational health and safety. This includes the detailed interpretation and application of health and safety legislative requirements, covering specific subjects such as policy formulation and the management of risk relating to a wide range of topics.  Further details are available on the Health and Safety website.
