What is it?
Bullying and Harassment is one of Royal Holloway's four core equality, diversity and inclusion e-learning courses. Royal Holloway takes its responsibilities very seriously in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion and is committed to creating an environment free from bullying, harassment or discrimination. Any such complaints will be treated seriously under our Dignity at Work Policy.
The workshop is mandatory for all staff (academic and professional services).
Programme content and objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the concepts of bullying and harassment from a legal and practical point of view. It is designed to empower colleagues to identify inappropriate behaviour and to demonstrate how we can help develop an anti-bullying culture at the College. It explores differences in communication and decision-making styles and the impact bullying and harassment can have on colleagues in the workplace. The course incorporates bullying and harassment workplace case studies and also highlights ways individuals can raise and seek support for bullying and harassment they may be experiencing.
