Weekly Mindfulness sessions
What is it?
Guided meditation sessions for all regardless of faith.
A growing body of scientific evidence confirms what has been known across the world for thousands of years; meditation has a strong positive effect on the brain. From reducing stress and lifting mood, to increasing concentration and even boosting the immune system, come along to discover the profound benefits of mindfulness!
The regular 12:30 - 13:00 sitting meditation in the chapel is continuing this term and all are welcome. (Please note: there won't be classes on the 29th of May as this is a Bank Holiday)
Mindful Mondays – evening
At 5:30pm – 6:30pm in the International Building Room 244, a sangha or supportive sitting group has started meeting for longer meditations, yoga and reflections on mindfulness teachings/readings. During the summer, these sessions will also involve mindful walking outside. The room maybe subject to change as we find the most comfortable and suitable space, so please do let us know if you’d like to come along to this.
