Please note that no member of staff should commence employment before their identity documentation has been provided in person and has been checked/ verified. Often documentation is checked at interview stage. Alternatively, new employees will need to present documentation for checking to be completed prior to their first day of employment. In some cases this may result in an amended start date if it has not been possible for these checks to be completed before a member of staff’s anticipated first day.
If you are planning to recruit a member of staff who may need a Certificate of Sponsorship, please contact the relevant HR Assistant for your Department.
