Update on the 2022/23 pay negotiations

All campus unions have rejected the current pay offer of 3.0% from the employers and have declared a dispute.Unite have held a strike ballot and the result was a turnout of 62.5% with 78% voting in favour of strike action. The first two days of strike action will take place on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th November.


Update on the 2019/20, 20/21 and 21/22 pay claims

In March, Unite members at RHUL were balloted on strike action over the current dispute over previous pay awards. The turnout was 60%, resulting in a meaningful ballot result. Of those who voted 60% votes in favour of strike action, which resulted in a strike mandate that ran from 8th April to 8th October. Watch this space for further news.
