The demands of the pandemic have meant that we have had to constantly reorganise the structure of this academic year to ensure that you are successfully able to continue with your studies, during what has been an extremely challenging time. Alongside all of the additional pressures the pandemic has presented us with, we understand that some of the adjustments to teaching and assessments that we made have had unintended consequences in some cases and some of you asked us for changes.
Recently, Senior Vice-Principal (Education), Professor James Knowles, led an initiative across all six schools to listen to your concerns, identified the issues and in many cases provide solutions. Your schools used a range of different feedback methods, including Moodle suggestion boxes, surveys, open meetings, student emails and working directly with Academic Reps, to ensure that your student voice and opinion was heard.
Each school has now produced a ‘You Asked, We Listened’ report, detailing the changes implemented in response to your feedback.
