Vintage clothes and vinyl market - Tuesday 12 May

To Be Worn Again is bringing its hugely popular Vintage Kilo Sale to campus on Tuesday 12 May from 11am-4pm.

A regular second-hand vinyl stall will also be at the Students' Union during the event.

Bird watching with Dr Becky Thomas - Wednesday 13 May

Starting at the Peregrine Falcons under Founder's South Tower at 2pm, Dr Becky Thomas will lead the group on a bird watching walk around our Living Campus. All equipment for bird watching will be provided. Please ensure that you are dressed appropriately for the weather.

Free bike road checks and servicing- Thursday 14 May

Taking place from 10am-4pm on Founder's Square, there will be free bike road safety tests and servicing for all students and staff.

A skilled team from Bike Project Surrey will also be carrying out pre-ride safety checks, checking your bike for faults and making puncture repairs. Where time allows, other minor repairs will also be carried out (at no cost), including the replacement of chains, inner tubes and break pads.

We'll also have lots of free bike safety equipment, including locks and lights, to give out to students and colleagues who bring their bike in for a service. 

Bike servicing will be provided on a first‑come, first‑served basis

Spade Brigade Bio Blitz - Wednesday 20 May

During the session, taking place from 12pm-2pm and starting from Founder's South Tower, attendees will be using the Inaturalist App to walk site and identify and record any wildlife they see, to aid conversation and learning around the rich biodiversity of our site. The session will be led by Daniel Steel, Senior Gardener.

Carbon Literacy Training - Tuesday 26 May

Join Professor Sigrun Wagner for Carbon Literacy Training, where you will have the opportunity to enhance your CV, develop progressive and future‑focused professional skills, and demonstrate your commit to solutions that support both personal and institutional efforts to reduce emissions.

Meadow yoga - Thursday 28 May (Cancelled)

A gentle yoga session amongst the tranquillity of the Founder's Meadows, taking place from 2pm-3pm (location TBC). All equipment will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
