Why did you want to be a Peer Guide leader?: To help out all those freshers that need that extra little bit of help and take on some more responsibility (I would have loved to have a Peer Guide in my first year) and let's not forget all the benefits of being a Peer Guide Leader such as all the skills you gain (communication, public speaking, team work, etc) and of course the employablity side to it.

How can having a Peer Guide help a first year student?: Everyone that comes to Royal Holloway for the first time is new and will not know all the details of this place within one week. We are here to help all those freshers and guide them in the right direction when needed. We can give you all the tips and tricks needed ranging from the best pizza place in Egham to where to speak to student services or how to join a club or society.
