COP26 Forum

As a College we will be holding a COP26 Forum to align with the COP26 Global Conference, that will be taking place in Glasgow from 1-12 November.

The Royal Holloway COP26 Forum will involve students, staff and members of our local community, and showcase research, teaching and other initiatives by students and staff. Royal Holloway has been accredited as an official observer at COP26 in Glasgow, and staff will be reporting from the talks. As a College we are also a member of the COP26 Universities Network and we will be launching our own Sustainability Strategy during this time. This Strategy will set out a vision for change and contain commitments such as eliminating waste to landfill, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing biodiversity.

Our COP26 Forum will offer a range of events hosted both online and face-to-face, from a student-chaired panel with local councillors debating decarbonisation plans for our local area, to discussions and workshops on literature and climate catastrophe.
