Host already registered message when registering my device. What should I do?

After registering your device, waiting for the countdown, and restarting your browser, you may be redirected to the registration page again. If you attempt to re-register you will see a 'host already registered' message. This may mean that your device needs a bit longer to connect to the network, you can try the following to speed up the process

  • Open a new webpage: Try browsing to a website other than your browser homepage.
  • If you are still redirected to the login page, disconnect from the CampusNet wireless network  and reconnect. Open your browser and try connecting to a new webpage.
  • If you see the registration pages again, disconnect from the CampusNet wireless network, wait a minimum of 6 minutes and reconnect. 
  • Still seeing the registration page? Contact the IT Service Desk for support - if possible, have your device's physical address (MAC address) to hand.
