Mathematica is a powerful piece of computational software, capable of building hedge fund trading websites, publishing interactive textbooks, or developing embedded image recognition algorithms. Create an account through the Wolfram portal with your Royal Holloway email addressand make sure you verify the account by clicking the confirmation link in the email, then fill in this form to apply for an activation key and receive instructions on how to download your software.
This is an annual licence that will expire in July, but can be renewed while you remain a student.

NVivo is software that supports qualitative and mixed methods research. It lets you collect, organize and analyze content from interviews, focus group discussions, surveys, audio and social media and web pages.
