Egham and Englefield Green, and indeed Surrey as a whole, are safe areas with a low crime rate and Royal Holloway has an excellent working relationship with the Surrey Police Neighbourhood Teams to maintain this. We support the Runnymede team with all aspects of crime prevention and detection, safety and security, wellbeing education and property marking and security.
The Runnymede Borough includes campus and the PCSOs are your first point of contact for any police related matters. They work very closely with the wellbeing team within the university and are regularly seen on campus. Please contact us for details of how to speak with them them if you are unsure.

Prevent Officer (Northern Division)
Ollie Greenaway is Surrey Police’s Prevent Officer for the North Surrey and Woking.

Through joint working between community groups, schools, colleges, universities, faith institutions, local authorities and partner agencies the Prevent strategy aims to safeguard individuals from all forms of terrorist ideologies and make sure that communities in Surrey are well placed to report and respond to violent extremist related concerns.
If you would like to find out more around the strategy or would like to speak with Ollie please contact him via email email@example.com.
Concerns related to violent extremism can be reported to Surrey Police on 101, or 999 in an emergency, as well as the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.
