Whether you want to find a job fast in the UK or abroad or are looking to find and fund a PhD, the Careers & Employability Service has created a programme of webinars, online resources and dedicated one-to-one support to help you prepare for the graduate job market during Masters Find a Job Week, 2-6 July.

Find out how to sell your Masters and other education and work experience to employers. It's highly likely that a future employer will want to see your CV. Employers may only look at a CV for 30 seconds before deciding to interview or bin an application. Find a job in the country of your choice Webinar, Thursday 5 July, 2-2.45pm

Explore resources to help you find a job in the country of your choice. This webinar is for any student who is thinking of looking for work outside of the UK. Royal Holloway students have access to lots of resources where you can research the global jobs market. In this session, we will investigate these resources so that you can find a job in your country of choice. Watch the playback.

Researching jobs in the UK Webinar, Friday 6 July, 12.30-1.15pm

Find out how to maximise your job searches and get tips on how to locate hidden opportunities. If you are fed up with wading through endless job boards looking for possible vacancies, then this webinar will help you to maximise your searches to produce better results and give you some tips on how to find some of those hidden opportunities.

One-to-one support

Now's the time to kickstart your career planning and get advice from our Careers Consultants. During Masters Find a Job Week, we have allocated daily time slots from 2pm to 3pm just for you. You can book a quick query appointment through the Careers Portal, pop to our helpdesk in the Davison Building, email us or phone the team at +44 (0) 1784 443 073.

Skype or phone appointments are also available. You can also book appointments throughout the summer months and after you graduate.

All-day event

Come along to our day-long workshop on campus which is designed to help you decide what you want to do, narrow your options and guide you through the application process. 

The all-day event is taking place on Thursday 26 July in the Event Space, Davison Building.
