Erin Lawless is the author of bestselling novels The Best Thing I Never Had and Somewhere Only We Know.

Her first novel was inspired by her university experience and meeting her now-husband at Royal Holloway. The book was self-published in 2012 and developed a cult-following among UK book bloggers before being picked up and republished by Harper.
