Aug 30 2017

The ISG Smart Card and IOT Security Centre (SC-IOT) Open Day will be held on Wednesday 30 August 2017, marking the 15th anniversary of the Smart Card Centre.

Back again by popular demand there will be short sound-bite presentations plus an exciting guest lecture from Ken Munro of Pen Test Partners LLP: “The IoT does actually make me WannaCry. The truth behind ransomware, botnets and your household goodies”. There will also be practical demonstrations of products and technology.
Current academic staff and students will host the event in attendance by industry experts, professionals and wider contacts.

We would like to extend a big thank you to the SCC funding supporters: Transport for London; UK Cards Association; ITSO and to the SC-IoT Open Day event sponsors: Infineon; MULTOS; Nationwide; Pen Test Partners and Underwriters Laboratory. If you would also like to support us in providing research that makes a real-world difference then please get in touch.

The open day will run from 10am-4pm, in the Picture Gallery.
