At the end of January, the Choir of Royal Holloway and the Royal Holloway Chamber Orchestra will be performing a concert in Westminster for the third year running.

In a unique and exciting collaboration, the Chamber Orchestra will be performing side-by-side with the UK’s oldest chamber orchestra, the London Mozart Players. The side-by-side scheme sees our classical music scholars given the opportunity to play alongside and learn from an established group. The combined forces of both orchestras, along with the sensational Choir of Royal Holloway, deliver an awe-inspiring concert at the historic St John’s Smith Square. The programme includes pieces by Mendelssohn, American composer Morten Lauridsen and Dorothy Howell’s Lamia in the 100th anniversary year of its premiere.

The concert starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday 30 January at St John’s Smith Square, London, SW1P 3HA. Tickets available on 020 7222 1061 or at sjss.org.uk.
