The Centre for the Development of Academic Skills (CeDAS) are offering a range of academic support initiatives including workshops and lectures to support your studying.
Come along to our informal, and lively talks on core academic skills with opportunities to ask questions and learn from first class work.
Our workshops are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate taught students. They are either one or two hours long and take place on different dates throughout the term.
Stats and SPSS workshops and Numeracy and psychometric testing workshops
Our maths, stats and numeracy workshops are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate taught students. You can take part in as many as you like during the term.
Academic English Courses for International Students
International students can also take advantage of academic English courses beginning on Monday 7 October.
Throughout this course you will learn how to write impactful essays, develop your grammar and vocabulary and polish your pronunciation.
These free courses run over 4 weeks from Monday 7 October to Monday 28 October.
Each course group meets once a week for a 2 hour class.
