We will soon be introducing new updated College Cards which will involve returning your current card in exchange for a new one. With this in mind, please make sure you bring your existing College Card with you when you return to university. Please note, if you're beginning your studies with us in September 2019, the College Card you will be provided with at enrolment, is the updated version of the card, so these instructions do not apply to you.
For all returning students, the College Card collection process will take place outside the Careers and Employability Service, in the Davison Building, 10.30am-5.30pm every weekday, from Monday 23 September until Friday 18 October. To ensure that this process runs as smoothly as possible, each school has been allocated with a specific week for you to exchange your current College Card for your new one.
The collection week for each school is displayed in the table below.

If you're unable to make the above slot that has been allocated to your school, you will be able to collect your new card from outside the Careers Service, any weekday between 10.30am-5.30pm, from Monday 23 September until Friday 18 October.
Your new College Card will contain technology that will make the card more effective and allow us to make future improvements to areas within the College. Your existing College Card will stop working at the end of the autumn term, so it's important that you exchange your current College Card for your new one, from outside the Careers and Employability Service.
How to collect your new College Card if you're living in Halls
If you are a returning student living in Halls, you will be provided with a temporary room key when you arrive at your Hall Reception (as per the guidance on page 12 of your Guide to Living in Halls). You will be able to collect your new College Card from your Hall Reception from Wednesday 25 September onwards, in exchange for your temporary room key and your current College Card. Please be aware that your new College Card will not be available before this date.
What to do if you've lost your College Card over the summer
If you have lost your College Card over the summer, you will need to collect your new College Card from the Student Services Centre. If this is the second time that you have lost your card, you will need to pay the £10 replacement fee as per our College Card Policy.
