Dec 30 2020
On Wednesday, 30 December, the Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson, made an announcement in the House of Commons and instructed universities to reduce the number of students who return to campus for the start of term two.

The announcement does not affect the start of term, which is Monday 11 January 2021, but the start of most face-to-face, on campus, teaching will be delayed. There will be a further government review in mid-January, and most classes will start online initially.  This is different to the information we shared with you at the end of term regarding the start of term two.

Please bear with us while we review the information available to us and determine what it means for the plans that you might have to return to campus. We will update you again early next week.
