Each year in late November, University of London celebrates its founding with an event in Senate House, where extraordinary individuals are recognised with honorary degrees at a ceremony presided over by our Chancellor, HRH The Princess Royal.
This year instead of hosting the annual flagship Foundation Day event, a Foundation Day Celebration video has been put together for you to enjoy, to be released on Foundation Day 2020, tomorrow (24 November).
The video gives you some insight into the history of the event, a message from our Chancellor, and feature contributions from some of our previous honorary graduates. Memories of previous Foundation Days will be shared and Vice-Chancellor Professor Wendy Thomson outlines University of London's new strategy – Transforming Education – Creating Futures.
