Congratulations to our Royal Holloway Men's Basketball and Women's Football teams for their LUSL Cup (London Universities Sports Leagues) victories on Saturday 8 March.
Men’s Basketball followed up their league victory with a dominant display in this Cup final, taking inspiration from the Women’s team victory last year. Women’s Football also successfully defended their title, defeating the top two UCL teams along the way to seal a hugely positive season.
LUSL features teams from a range of London Universities, who play in group and knockout fixtures each weekend. The LUSL Fest event has been held at Royal Holloway in each of the last few years - meaning our Bears teams have enjoyed these successes on home soil.
Commiserations to our Mixed Lacrosse tea, who came so close in their final and finish the LUSL season as runners-up.
