The Mrs M’s Education Award is a £2000 award, available to a 2025/26 final year female student as defined under the Equality Act 2010 to address under-representation of women in the degree courses below. This award is one of several measures designed to advance equality; while it focuses on women as defined by the Act, our broader University EDI strategy ensures support and opportunities for all communities.

  • LLB Law with Politics/Sociology/Politics/Philosophy 
  • BSc Management with Accounting  
  • BSc Management with Marketing

  • BSc Computer Science (Software Engineering)  

To meet the eligibility criteria to apply you must also be

  • a permanent resident of the UK
  • from a low income household (under £25,000)
  • in good academic standing.

Please note that as part of your application, you need to ask 2 referees, one member of Royal Holloway teaching staff to and one external to the university, to provide an academic and work/volunteering reference respectively. The forms for the academic and work reference are also now available for you to send to your chosen referees.

The deadline for complete applications and all references to be submitted is 5pm on 5 January 2026.
