To mark International Women’s Day on Thursday 8 March, the Staging Suffrage team have curated a meditative trail around the Emily Wilding Davison Library that will allow you to discover the places and spaces of the building interwoven with the suffrage legacy of its namesake.

The trail will begin in the main foyer and will take you on a journey around the building, encountering women from the suffragette movement of 1918. After each encounter you will receive a new clue as well as a unique, commemorative postcard – by collecting the whole postcard set, you will be able to thread all of the clues together.

To take part in the trail, collect your first clue from the Staging Suffrage stand in the main foyer of the Davison Building. There’s no need to book in advance, but please be aware that in the interests of maintaining the library’s contemplative atmosphere, only a limited number of participants will be able to take part at any given time.

The trail will run from 12-2pm on Thursday 8 March. It is completely free.
