International Student Support
Studying in the UK offers many exciting experiences, but it can of course be challenging to adjust to a new environment.
At Royal Holloway we have students from over 120 different countries! We have a fantastic Global Community and tailored support to suit everyone’s needs. Whether it be a small enquiry or bigger concern, The International Support Office (ISSO) is here to help you settle in and become a part of our community.
The ISSO is available to help you get the best out of Royal Holloway. They work hard to provide easy-to-access services and events which connect international students and inform on the best ways to get involved here on campus.
Getting involved
The ISSO host Global Café in partnership with the Students’ Union and Campus Engagement team. There is free coffee, biscuits and great conversations with other international students! You can attend any Tuesday during term time, from 4 – 6pm in the Students’ Union.
Another great way to meet people and settle in is through volunteering. There is a specific Volunteering International team who are delighted to help support international students in their volunteering activities. More information can be found here.
