From this weekend (22 September) the College bus service will be operating slightly differently.

Instead of the Campus, Egham Train Station and Kingswood Halls Route being serviced by two single decker vehicles on a loop, the route will now be split with one vehicle running between Egham Train Station and Campus, and the other vehicle (a double decker) running between Kingswood Halls/ HOX Park and Campus. In the evening, at weekends and during the holidays, the service shall remain as it is with just one vehicle doing a loop.

Over Arrivals Weekend (22 and 23 September) the weekend and vacation service (RH3) will be in operation and will continue every weekend during the autumn term. Then from Monday 24 September, the term time service will begin (RH1, RH2 and RH EVE).

These changes have been made for a number of reasons, including:

  • To increase capacity - the vehicle running between Campus and Kingswood Halls/ HOX Park will be a double-decker vehicle
  • To facilitate an additional stop - the vehicle running between Campus and Kingswood Halls will now stop at HOX Park which is a new private residential development within walking distance of Kingswood, located on Coopers Hill Lane
  • To increase the frequency of the service
  • Clear routes -we believe that the revised service is easier to follow and more user-friendly.
