BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport), in partnership with academic colleagues at Sheffield Hallam, is launching a UK wide student engagement survey to research how involved students from low socioeconomic backgrounds are, in relation to sport and physical activity.

This survey is being launched with prospects of future funding possibilities in mind. BUCS are keen to understand more about sports involvement in higher education from all students, and whilst the survey results will focus on low socioeconomic backgrounds, it also wishes to ascertain sport involvement in relation to :

  • Commuting students
  • Low Socioeconomic Background
  • Physical wellbeing
  • Behaviour change towards sport & Activity, Students Sport / Physical Activity Habits
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Social inclusion
  • Volunteering
  • Individual Development

The closing day for the survey is 28 February 2019. Read more and complete the survey here.
