Profile

I have been involved in a range of teaching, training, lecturing, tutoring and management roles in the Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) sectors in the UK for nearly two decades. I was professionally reared in FE, a sector that has always been at the forefront of Widening Participation, Inclusion and giving students a second chance. So, I am passionate about raising the aspirations and educational attainment of students from non-conventional backgrounds, students from lower socio-economic groups, students that are usually marginalised and misunderstood because of the section of the population that they come from.

I have worked with students, lecturers, leadership teams and policymakers in different capacities in Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, London and the United Arab Emirates to facilitate an institution-wide inclusive habitus that ensures that all students, irrespective of their background, are visible and have a sense of belonging, thus are retained, progress and complete their programs successfully.

My expertise are in essay writing, dissertation writing, critical analysis and reflective writing skills, research methods, dissertation supervision, education and leadership and management theory.
