What documents we can provide for you and when

You can access or request a variety of different documents depending on what year of your studies you're in and the time of year it is (e.g. before or after your results have been released). Take a look at the tables below to find out what documents are available to you and how you can request them.

Continuing students

You're a 'continuing student' if you're continuing on the same programme in September.

1 September 2018 – 31 August 2019

Student Status Certificate 2018/19 

This document is proof of your student status and will confirm that you are fully enrolled at the College for the current academic year.

If you are continuing on the same course from the 2017/18 academic year, you will need to complete your enrolment for the 2018/19 academic year before you can access the document i.e. complete online sign-up and arrange your tuition fee payment.

If you are starting at Royal Holloway in September 2018, you will need to complete your enrolment before you can access the document i.e. complete online sign-up, arrange tuition fee payment and attend your ID check (from 22 September 2018).

1 September 2019 - 31 August 2020

Student Status Certificate 2019/20

This document is proof of your student status and will confirm that you are fully enrolled at the College for the academic year.

If you are continuing on the same course from the 2018/19 academic year, you will need to complete your enrolment for the 2019/20 academic year before you can access the document i.e. complete online sign-up and arrange your tuition fee payment.

If you are starting at Royal Holloway in September 2019, you will need to complete your enrolment before you can access the document i.e. complete online sign-up, arrange tuition fee payment and attend your ID check (from 21 September 2019).

19 October 2018 - 31 August 2019

Interim Transcript 2018/19

This document is a transcript of results for your current programme of study and you will have access once you have completed your enrolment and course registrations for the new academic year.

In your first year of study, only your course registrations will show, you will not have any marks until your results are released at the end of your first year. Following the release of results and your progression on to the next academic year, your marks for the current year will update on 8 July 2019 providing you are continuing the same programme of study in September 2019. At the start of each new academic year you will need to have completed College enrolment to have access to the document.

You're a final year student if you're in or have just finished the final year of your programme.

Student Status Certificate 2018/19

This document is proof of your student status and will confirm that you are fully enrolled at the College for the current academic year. You will lose access to this document once you reach your expected end date of your programme.

01 September 2018 – 14 June 2019

Interim Transcript

This document is a transcript of results for your current programme of study and shows your marks from previous academic years as well as your current year course registrations.

The transcript won’t show any marks for the current academic year and in your final year of study will only show your course registrations, it will never show your final year results as you will lose access to the document on your expected end date which is before your results are released.

15 June 2019 – 25 June 2019

Results Pending Letter

This letter confirms that you’ve finished your studies but that you’re currently awaiting your results. It will also confirm your personal details (name and date of birth), your programme title, the start and end date of your course and the dates that your classification is due to be released.

Proof of Study Letter

A Proof of Study letter is an official document available to former students only. The letter confirms your start date, end date, the course studied and award achieved (if applicable). More information can be found on our Proof of Award page.

Must be purchased through the Royal Holloway Online Store

5-10 working day turnaround time.

5 July 2019 – onwards

Diploma Supplement 

The Diploma Supplement is a formal statement confirming your course unit marks, programme of study, dates of attendance and award details.

You will receive a Diploma Supplement on successful completion of your course and the release of your results. For details on how you will receive this, please see our Results pages.  If you require a copy of this document, you can purchase one from the Royal Holloway Online Store.

You do not need to request your free copy.

5-10 working day turnaround time.

15 July 2019 – onwards 

Degree Certificate

On successfully completing your programme, you will be issued your Degree Certificate at your graduation ceremony from the Windsor Building. Any certificates that aren’t collected during graduation week will be posted to forwarding addresses by the University of London after graduation week. Forwarding addresses are as recorded on ‘My personal details’ tab on Campus Connect.

You do not need to request your free copy.

If you require a copy of this document, you will need to purchase one from either the Diploma Production Office at the University of London or the Royal Holloway Online store depending on your programme of study. Before placing an order please check the guidance on where you will need to order the certificate from to avoid unnecessary delay.

5 July  2019 - onwards

Validated Transcript of Results

The Validated Transcript of Results is a formal statement of your course unit marks, dates of attendance and award details (if applicable). Once your final year results have been released through Campus Connect, you’ll be able to order the document.

5-10 working day turnaround time

To help us provide a fast and efficient service, please don’t order any of the above documents that aren’t currently available to you. Due to high demand, we aren’t able to hold requests and therefore any documents that can’t be processed straight away will be cancelled (and refunded if applicable).
