Join us this evening as we take it back to where it all started by watching a famous performance of one of Beethoven’s Piano Concertos, hosted by our Orchestral Scholars.

Instrumental & Vocal Lesson Enrolment

Activity outline

The Music Department at Royal Holloway has a well-established national and international reputation in musical performance. It has nurtured the talents of musicians who have subsequently occupied a distinguished position in musical life both in the United Kingdom and abroad. The Department hosts 35 expert instrumental and vocal tutors to teach and support our students. Check out the Department of Music webpage to find out who’s who.

New students joining Royal Holloway in September 2020 must meet and enrol with the Dr Daniel Elphick (Instrumental & Vocal Tutor Coordinator) anytime between 9.00am and 5.00pm on Tuesday, 22 September 2020 and Wednesday, 23 September 2020. Your enrolment meeting with take place on MS Teams. There you will be allocated an Instrumental or Vocal Tutor and will be spoken through the Lesson Agreement, plus find out when your first lesson will be.

The Royal Holloway Music Group Fair

Activity outline

Hosted by the Royal Holloway Music Society, this year's Music Group Fair will be presented with a twist. You are able to drop into live drop-in sessions to meet your 2020-21 music groups at Royal Holloway music groups, or if you are unable to make it today, you can view the broad range of ensembles we have online with a whole load of resources and behind-the-scenes information. From jazz bands to opera societies, orchestras to new music opportunities, there will be something for everyone.
