Step four: Your College Card
Your Royal Holloway College Card is your proof of identity at Royal Holloway. It's also your access card to College buildings, your Library card, Campus Account card and your Students' Union membership card.
For all students starting a new course, we ask that you submit a passport style photo for your College Card so we can prepare your card for you.

Submitting a photo
Student starting in January 2023
You will need to email CollegeCard@royalholloway.ac.uk with a suitable photo for your College card by Thursday 15 Decemeber 2022.
Once you submit your photo, our team will review your image and confirm if it has been accepted within 5 working days. You will be emailed at the start of term in January with details of how you can collect your card.
Requirements for your photo
Your photo will need to meet the requirements below in order to be accepted.
- The file attachment must also be be a .JPG file. Please note, we cannot open One Drive attachments, please ensure you attach file documents only not web linked documents.
- Recent passport style photo of your face without any covering, unless worn for religious beliefs or medical reasons
- Good quality colour photo with a light background
- Portrait orientation
- No photo filters, for example Snapchat filters

Receiving your College Card
We’ll email you with the details on how to collect your College card once its ready.
You’ll need to bring some photo ID with you when you come to collect your College card.
Please note, if you do not submit a photo for your College Card by the deadline, there will be a delay in you receiving your College Card.
If you've previously studied at Royal Holloway
If you have previously studied at Royal Holloway or changed your start date, you’ll still need to submit a new passport style photo for use on your new College Card. Please note, failure to submit a photo will result in a delay in you receiving your College Card.
Completing your enrolment
Your enrolment is complete once you have carried out all four of the enrolment steps. If you would like to check the status of your enrolment you can do this by logging into Campus Connect. Click on 'Enrolment' and select ‘Start of Session Checklist’. This will show you when you have completed Online Sign-up, Tuition Fee Payment and Identity Check.
